Yorkie Talker | coughing my six month old baby boy has this cough that sounds like he has something stuck in his throat. every once in a while he will have coughing spells that last for a few mins. im just wondering if this could be something to do with his small threacha or if he could be getting a cold. any information or hints to what it could be would be appericated. Thanks. |

| Well...Has he been in a kennel type situation with other dogs? Have you been using a collar or harness? He may have kennel cough or is you have been using a collar, there could be some irritation to the trachea. But coughing spells that last for minutes isn't normal. I would definitely get him checked out by the vet. In both cases, trachea irritation and kennel cough, vet care is going to be needed. As well as lots of love and attention from his Mommy! Hope this helps! Gizmo's Mommy. |

| Reverse sneeze? Has he just been intubated for surgery? Did the vet specifically rule out kennel cough? Heart sound good? Just wearing a harness instead of a collar does not guarantee that a pup won't get a collapsed trachea.
