| Going 100% Yorkie! So my first and so far only yorkie is 1/4 poodle, his dad was a yorkiepoo, I call him a yorkiepoo. His coat is grey and silver and wavy but other than that from what I've read he seems 100% yorkie. Now I am getting yorkie #2 and I have found a breeder I love who has AKC yorkies. I am not really worried, just wondering if thiers any traits that might surprise me or if she will be even more mischievious or what? I was a little weary going for the 100% but it should be fine right??? |

| Yes!! Yorkies have awesome little personalities. Always walking with their heads high up & prancing everywhere. You will love her. Congrats!

| Each dog's is different. I've owned two yorkies myself and had five others in my extended family, and they each had their own personality. No two were alike.

No Longer a Member | They all have their own personalities. Rizzo is almost nothing like the typical yorkie behavior, he's a total wimp but he's my total wimp and I adore him, haha. Someday I'll get him a tough little sister to take care of him, but for now I'll just try to help him toughen up. |

| I believe in breed inherent traits but not to dismiss individual personalities... My Schnorkie is the perfect middle ground of a Yorkie and Mini schnauzer so based on only having him and before I got my Elvis I didn't realize how in fact lap dog and kind of "cat" like Yorkies can be...or how stubborn and independent min schnauzies are.... Given I've been around Yorkies a lot had them in the family but Elvis is my first pure Yorkie...so ye they are in my experience a little different...just hmmmmm I call it "more prissy" LOL nothing drastic though if you've already had a Yorkie mix you'll see the common ground and poodles are similar behaved...so I think you'll be good...my min schnauzer though WOW there's a drastic difference in personality from Yorkie!
