| New Member Hello I am a new member to the board. I have a three year old male yorkie named Chico and a 3 month old female named Sophie. My Sophie became very sick and was diagnosed with a liver shunt. she is scheduled for surgery at the University of Tennessee on February 18th.I never even heard of a liver shunt until she got sick. i have joined the liver shunt support group and learning all I can before her surgery. Sophie is a tough little pup and I am praying she pulls through. |

| Welcome Sorry your Sophie is sick. It is just heart wrenching when these little guys are not well. Hope all will go well in her surgery. I think you are going to the right place for this procedure. I have no experience but plenty of the members here do. Try posting on the sick or injured forum. Prayers for you both! |
