Donating YT 2000 Club Member | This is weird I completely forgot about this until this morning. Yesterday I picked Brielle from her spay and everything went great. When the tech was giving me post op instructions she also gave me a vile with Brielle's 2 teeth that were extracted. Do you think that's weird? Was anyone else given their babies teeth?

| I guess that is the way they do things. I have little pill containers with all my girls' teeth that were taken out.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Well good to know someone else was handed the teeth. I thought they knew how crazy I am over her and figured I would want them. Good to know this is standard.

| Sometimes teeth are given to owners as proof of the work done...

| We got the teeth; that didn't strike me as strange; however, my DH's insistence on keeping them is sorta weird! I actually considered having a lucite key chain made with them for him or earrings for me. Earrings would be very weird, and I think they are too fragile for that. Here comes the really strange part. We opened the vial and let Dinky sniff them (it's been over 2 months),and Dinky was nuts to get at them. We put them away, but for 20 minutes he sniffed around in that room for them. What was that? I think it had to be intense doggy smell? the smell of marrow. We can only guess. Dinky's not talking! |

| For Bandit (not great vet) no. For Nala (our current amazing vet) yes. I know I saved them but I'm not sure where I put them... I should probably find them so they don't pop up in an embarassing place when people are over. Imagine trying to explain that one |

| Rio had her baby teeth pulled during her spay but our vet didn't give me her teeth. Bullet had his baby teeth pulled during his neuter and our SAME vet gave me his teeth. I don't know why she didn't give me Rio's teeth, but didn't bother to ask. I actually kept a few of Rio's baby teeth that fell out on their own... Weird, maybe. Do I care what other people think, no way!

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Ok so it's not weird. Makes sense that they give them as proof work was done or as a keepsake. Funny thing is I keep looking at them.lol
