| Your Yorkie's quirks Do your Yorkies have certain behaviors inconsistent with his/her overall personality? Max and Teddy agree that Maxman is the top dog, the boss. Yet Max will allow Teddy to push him away from his food or water bowl. Same thing happens outside when Max is sniffing something on the ground, Teddy will shove him aside and stick his nose in the spot. These behaviors are completely inconsistent with their respective personalities. Strange! |

| There are probably lots of other things that I'm not thinking of at this time. What comes to mind is that she doesn't bark very much. She is usually very quiet, but she will bark at the most inopportune times!

| Well, I often hear parents talk about their human kids in the "terrible two" stage of life. My human kids never really gave us any problems, ever! However, if I were to imagine a "terrible two" stage, I think my Mylee would fit that descripton to a T. If you do the 3 count with your toddlers, I do it with my dog. LOL.. And she even waits till I get to 2 and 3/4! (Disclaimer..I love that she has a mind of her own and is a wild child) Moka is an angel. At least she always wants you to "think" she is. She's eager to please. But, as I am getting older, also wiser, I think she's just smart. She's always at the site of "trouble" but never really has her mouth or feet dirty if you know what I mean, but Mylee is right in the middle of it with all the evidence. I think Moka coaxes Mylee into trouble knowing Mylee will bite at the bait, and when I come looking for them Moka is quick to "look" like the innocent one that comes running to mommy braggin that it was "all" Mylee. LOL. I'm watching that girl!

| Jackson's got a few weird quirks. He does NOT like the fly swatter. No idea why, nobody has ever laid a hand on him or used one against him. Even one swat of one to kill a fly and he's off under the bed. Fireworks and gun shots he's also terrified of... he, again, directly goes under my bed. When he's scared, he does not want to be comforted by me, he just wants to be hidden somewhere and not found. He's fine when it comes to sleeping in other peoples homes, etc, but at our house and my dads house (where we spent the night at least once a week) he does not like change. If I am laying upstairs for some reason (my bedroom is downstairs) he will lay for a few minutes up there, whine trying to get me to go back down, but then he prefers to go downstairs and lay in "our" bed and wait for me...

| Teddy has a lot of quirks. The one that is the most odd is that every time he hears a noise, like when the furnace turns on (it sounds like an airplane landing gear), Teddy jumps and makes a small noise that is really cute. The quirk is that he does this all the time, it's always a new experience. We think he has memory problems so that may be why But it's adorable!!

| Conner is such a sweet dog--always the first to greet you, give kisses, loves to cuddle. But if you go to pick him up, he sounds like he is going to EAT YOU!! This is so disturbing to us, because he has NEVER been abused in any way. He just rumbles and grumbles and makes all kind of racket. All we have to do is say "NO bite" and he calms right down. He has done this since he was little. No idea why. |

uni is kind of like that too. She's a little tattle tale. When I was working on potty training with katie, if there was an accident, Uni was the one who found it. She'd go and stand by it and give us a look, like looookieee what IIIIII fooooound! And of course it wasn't Uni bc she hasn't had an accident in years. She just did this at our other shop. A customer brought in a yorkie puppy, only about 3 months old, so of course not potty trained. No one noticed it for hours, and it didn't get stepped on, but when we walked by it, of course Uni would pause and look and sniff, like hey, I found something! Who's gettin' in trouble? Not meeeee!!!!

| Trixie can be quirky too - When she is ready to eat her kibble, she digs in her bowl with her paw and throws the kibble onto the floor to eat it .... go figure. Hmmm wonder if I put it on the floor if she would put it back in her bowl

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Some quirks off the top of my head... I have to close the blinds at work or Taycie will bark at anything.. Sometimes I look and I have no clue what the heck she is even yapping at.. go figure? And she loves balls, or anything that moves. Loves soccer balls, basketballs. She will bark at them and move them around the house for HOURS. And then when I pick the ball up to put it away she will sit right next to the drawer it goes in and scratch, bark and whine. All you have to say is, "Taycie, where's your ball?" and she goes bananas! |

I've been told that Kaji throws tantrums, hops on the desks, and even goes into the kitchen without permission. I've been told he raids the trash cans for food. But he's such a good little boy, and is glued to my side. He doesn't have time for mischief!

| The one quirk that has been consistent with all of mine(maybe passed on to each as they join) is the vaccuum monster. They all bark, chase, and try to bite it so I often try to distract them in another room. |

| Sophie Kate loves to steal kleenex and paper towels, you would think she found a piece of gold. Usually it results in my chasing her around the house to prevent a little piles of chewed up paper. Last winter she jumped up and grabbed my elderly neighbors kleenex right out of her hand - poor Vivian was so shocked. Besides that Sophie Kate is perfect (watch out for the lightning strike, since that is so not true).
