| Darcy's color?? Not that it matters one bit, but I never got Darcy's paperwork from the breeder I bought her from. Not sure what the problem is but I love her and I'm not going to breed her.... anyway, my question is... her hair is really dark even though she's over a year old now she only has a tiny bit of silver showing up on the top of her head and a little bit of gold... is there a possibility that she isn't a full blood yorkie? how can i post a pic in this thread?

| I took a peek in your album, and I think she's definitely all yorkie. Some yorkies stay dark - I have two dark ones myself. The coloring is considered a fault as far as breeding or showing, but I happen to like the dark haired babies. Darcy is adorable by the way! This is Murphy and Tate.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I looked at her pics in your album and she looks all yorkie to me. She is really cute. She may have a more cottony coat. My Roxie is 3 and still ha a lot of black on her head and she has stayed black on her body.

| Tia is dark with cotton coat and won't be changing. She is just about 10 months and has a mask. Ally has the regular coloring with a silky coat. Darcy is beautiful and I can't wait to see her long hair either! |

| My precious Heidi that I lost last Jan at 18 yrs old was as black as black could be with a reddish gold tan color on her head. She was full blooded and I loved her color. Even at 18 yrs old the only grey she had was right around her mouth. I got another little yorkie a year ago and she is black also. Alot of people like the black/tan but they are alittle harder to find. |

| I LOVE THE DARKER COATS..Thought Dud was going to stay darker, but he has been getting lighter and he's 2 1/2, I've seen a big change over the past 3 months Love the lil man regardless I prefer darker, I hope his brother will have a darker coat like the ones you all posted pic's of...

| All of ours are full Yorkie and if you watch my avatar it scrolls through the pictures of them....all different colors. With Houston and Meadow, if we grow them out they are silver/gray, but really blondish when short. Piper is just crazy blonde coloring and silver under it...we have never quite figured out how she got that coloring....black and tan when she was born...then a trip to the groomers one day and Whamo! Under the black was all this blonde. She's still a little diva though.
