| Are these purebred ? Need opinions. I am going to my local Humane Society today to look at two yorkie puppies. One male one female. Both must have come from the same home. The shelter website says they are mixes but they look purebred to me. It also says they are both 5 months old. The female looks older to me. Could anyone take a look at the pictures and give me your opinion ? Thanks, link to the pics are below. Animal Details | Animal Humane Society Animal Details | Animal Humane Society |

| Can't tell by the pictures, but sure are cute! The little boy actually looks like he's smiling.

| The little girl does look older than 5 months. Not sure about the little boy's age but sure looks like a puppy. They are both adorable. Hope that things work out when you go to visit with them.

| It just amazes me that these little dolls end up at shelters. It will probably break my heart leaving one there but I'm sure both will be adopted very quickly. |

| Boy, the first one sure looks like a yorkie to me but the second one (Fred) says it is a mix. It is kind of hard to believe that a yorkie - even a mix would weight 8lbs though. I'm no expert so don't take my word for it. Grab either one of them! They ar both adorable! |

| I don't know if they are purebred or not, but they are both precious! I think I'd have to take both of them home with me if I went to look at them.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | They look purebred to me and adorable! Usually a rescue will take anything that looks anything like a yorkie, and I wonder why these two have been snatched up? Do you know if your shelter is a no-kill shelter?

| I'm not sure if they are pure bred or not, but they both look adorable as can be! Good luck, can't wait to see if one is the right fit for your family! Let us know!

| I think it's no-kill, but either way small dogs get adopted quickly around here. They won't be there by the weekend I am quite sure. (we tried adopting first but could never get there fast enough) |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Oh this is so sad, and the reason they give for giving them up is that they are moving . . .

I thought the same thing, the girl, ginger, looks like she is at least 5 or 6 yrs old, and the little boy is very cute, head looks a bit larger than what i have seen in puppies that age......but good luck seeing them, they are adorable.....
