| Feel terrible I had a bad mommy moment this morning. I slept in for work and missed my daughters bus for school. I was cooking breakfest and let the dogs out to potty. My daughter was being a pain and I was in a hurry trying to get everything together to leave. Well I let Lola and Geneva in because they were waiting at the door. I called for Zach but he was still roaming the yard so I decided to get my daughters shoes and bag on. I left and forgot Zach outside in the back yard! I left the house just before 9 am and I called home around 11 30am and my husband was sleeping from his night shift he said he heard whinning so he got up and looked around. Lola is the whiner so he figured it was her but she was fine so he went to the back door and my poor Zachy poo was sitting at the door waiting to come in. He missed breakfest and it was a little chilly out. Man I feel so terrible how could I forget him outside! And I didn't even REMEMBER until my husband said it I said OMG I forgot to let him back in! Thank God my yard is securely fenced and my husband was home. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Fortunately there was no harm done. I worry about doing that myself. I think most of us have had at least one moment where we had too many things going at once and overlooked something important. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hey, Alana! I had the exact same thing happen to one of my kittens - except for the freezing bit. She seemed fine but I took her to the e.r. anyway. She was ok, but I needed sedation. |

| I usally don't let my dogs out when I go away but I have forgotten to take my two Bassets in a couple of times and they were out in the rain for a couple of hours. They came in to two wet rags. I felt so awful, but it happens now and then to the best of us. |

| Aw this is sad but kinda made me giggle because i have KINDA done the same thing with Poppy. She follows me everywhere i go and sometimes i leave a room shut the door and carry on with what i am doing. Then i wonder where she is and go looking for her. So far she has been left in the bathroom and the hall and my bedroom and even the porch haha. She only gets left for about 10mins but she never crys or anything so if i didnt wonder where she was i wonder how long she would have been left in there before she let me know lol. Glad your little one is ok xxx

| Don't feel to bad. I did the almost the exact same thing. I was having work done on my house so naturally I had a lot of people coming and going. This one particular time, the painters left out through the garage door to throw out some trash but forgot to close the garage door, somehow or another Brandi got into the garage and of course she got outside. I didn't even notice it until about 30 minutes later. Fortunately she didn't get too far and I was able to get her. This is one time where I was glad of the fact that she has to stop to smell everything on the ground, otherwise she would've of been long gone. |

| I have never locked my boys outside because I always go out with them, but then again, I have no children to attend to in the house either so its easier for me... but you have no idea how many times Ive locked them in closets, in the garage, in a bedroom, sometimes I call and call for an hour and then finally go hunting and they are panting behind some closed door whining to come out! LOL Poor babies! Glad Zach is ok though!

YT Addict | At least you didn't leave him outside in the dead of winter! I felt soooo bad when I did that to Coco. I had family over and I put her outside to go potty and I left her out there for about an hour!!!! I live in Michigan and it can get really cold too!!! You can imagine hhow many "I'm sooooo sorry"'s and hugs, kisses, and treats she got!!! I am very thankful that she was okay though!

| Don't feel to bad, I think most of us have had a bad day at sometime or another. Just make sure you give him lot's of hugs & kiss's to make up to him. LOL
