| African Puppy Scam So I saw the ad in our local 'Wiseshopper' paper, and immediately became suspicious. "Two Yorkie Puppies Free to Good Home" - "Rehoming". I emailed the address and got the typical reply, "Missionaries in Africa, family with two children cannot care for the two precious puppies, the weather is too hot for them, etc. - must rehome them". They only require that I pay shipping, and they will send the puppies. I would like to report this scam to authorities. Does anyone know the best way to go about this? Since he emailed me back, I have an IP address. This can be used for identification purposes. I'm just not sure who I should contact, Consumer Affairs?, local police? Any info or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

| Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home since they are engaging you on the internet you can report it to the fbi internet scam/fraud division at the above website also might not hurt to let the wiseshopper people know, so they can pull the ad. the local police can do nothing with it.
