| Mango is home!!! Well, yesterday my dad and I went to pick up Mango from Tracey! So excited! He seems to be adjusting ok. Got a little carsick on the way home last night (the first half hour of driving, but nothing after that, even though we drove for about another 3 hours.) He's a sweetie! For now, I'm having him sleep in a crate with pee pads. I don't know when he last went to the bathroom with Tracey, but we left her house at 8:30ish last night. and he hasn't gone to the bathroom since before that time. I had him outside 3 times this morning. Took him out first thing when I woke up, after my shower, after he ate 2 pieces of food, and nothing. But I'm sure it's just nerves right now. I am attending my grandfathers burial today, and am probably taking him there, because it's over an hour away, and we will be gone there for at least 2 hours. Even if he does get carsick I guess. Hopefully he will grow out of it. also, I LOVE MANGO! I woke up this morning, so happy, because my baby is home! We have a check up on Tuesday at the vet. |

| Congratulations on beautiful Mango! Is there someone who can watch him while you at burial?

| Unfortunately, no. Our whole family is going, and I just can't leave him at home on his first day here. But I'm not sure what I should do yet. I don't want to traumatize him with the car rides. If I left him at home, he would have to be in the crate. (Not quite potty trained yet, plus it's safer for now anyways!) |

| I think if he gets car sick and he had such a huge transition yesterday, then a couple of hours in his crate will be fine. Play with him lots before you go and he just snooze.

| Okay. The thing is, I can't get him to walk around, I don't want to force him yet. I took him out on the leash, but he doesn't understand what to do. He doesn't want to play, just sniffing around the few rooms I've allowed him in, I'll try to see if he will play soon. |

| Congratulations on your sweet little Mango being home with you. With these little guys it takes a few days to get used to their new home. He will adjust just fine and start eating and playing. Just be patient with him and you will do fine. I can't wait to see pics of him in his new home.

| Congratulations! I'm sure Mango will adjust well in due time. I'm still anxiously awaiting the homecoming of my baby LuLu...just 2 more weeks! I'm a bit concerned about the adjustment period myself. |

| He is doing fantastic! I went away for about 4 hours to the burial, came home, and he peed in his cage, which I'm totally fine with because 1) he's not completely potty trained yet 2) he hasn't gone in a while 3) there was a pee pad down After that he stunk, so i just gave him a short bath to make him smell (and be) clean again! He seems to enjoy the water hmmm! Nice to know it is not hard to bathe him! Then he actually ate! I was so happy! I took him outside about 10 minutes after he ate, and he didn't go to the bathroom again. I've learned something about Mango! He doesn't like bows too much! The one bow I got that came with Mango, is a clip, and I guess it's too heavy in his hair so it kind of flips into his face and he paws it out! I am going to try your bows that you sent me, Susan! I'm still giving him some time. I will post a picture very soon. He's in a cute little surfer shirt, just laying on the couch next to me! What a baby!!!!! |

| Megan I am glad to hear he is doing well!! Things will get better once he is more settled in. He has never gone to the bathroom in a crate before so he must not have been able to hold it any longer. Once you get a routine established his potty habits will straighten out as right now he doesn't know when or where to go and his eating habits were disrupted. But he will get the hang of it once he is settled in. What did Susie think of him? As for the bow, you must not have it in right. It is the same bow that he was wearing in his last pictures. It is an alligator clip bow. So rather than just clipping it around the ponytail itself instead insert the back piece into half of the ponytail below the rubber band. This holds it in place and it won't flop forward unless it truly is too heavy. Here is a picture of Destiny, I drew a line to kind of show you where to put the bow. Just remember rather than putting the back piece around all of the ponytail instead put it through the middle of the ponytail. Hope this helps, kinda hard to explain but very easy to show.
