| just back from Vet OMG ... I thought I killed him!! I was in the backyard, kicking the "Kong" toy around for my other dog (not a yorkie) & my little yorkie ran straight for it. He got hit in the side of the face & just dropped to the ground. Right away he starts crawling on his belly towards me, so I ran & picked him up, grabbed my keys & crying my eyes out ran straight to the Vet. He checked his teeth, jaw nothing loose or knocked out of place, nothing broken, Vet checked his eyes, no sign of a concussion. Thank God!! He just has a bad headache. Scared the life out of me!! I am just so thankful that he is o.k. I love him so much! Of course I am home alone today, DH went golfing! |

| So scary ... thank goodness your baby is ok! Funny how these little monkeys have a knack for inserting themselves into the wrong place at the wrong time. They're just so darned quick!

| I am so glad Dezi is okay!!! I hit Bailey by mistake in the neck the other day, he was right by my foot and I didn't realize it, thank god it was only a light tap, it really scared me, I can only imagine how you felt! Give Dezi hugs for me!

| They sure are quick aren't they!! So happy the little one is ok, and I hope it doesn't make him afraid to chase a ball now. Those Kongs are pretty heavy and not meant to be a ball.

| thanks for the support thanks guys... I am starting to settle my nerves! when he started crawling for me it just broke my heart!! It was horrible to see him in pain and it was my fault! I just kicked the Kong a little bit but it bounced on the ground. I waited so long to get my little guy, if anything happened to him, OMG! I will have to think of a new game for my other dog to play, for sure! |

| Poor baby, so glad he is doing well now! Isn't that the worst when something happens and you feel like it's your fault. Been there.

| I am so glad he's okay. Try not beat yourself up....accidents do happen. I used to call Brandi my little silent stalker because she was always underfoot and I would never notice it. A couple of times I almost stepped on her. Now that I keep her tags on 90% percent of the time, I can hear her so it minimizes the chance of having an accident with her. Is is possible for you to get a little bell or something? Brandi's tags jiggle enough for me to always hear when she is walking or running. Now I go looking for her when i don't hear them (means she up to something)....can't win either way . Last edited by yavenay; 06-08-2010 at 06:32 AM. |
