Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Please Help.. A friend of mine has a chihuahua that just a had c-section week... she had 2 puppies.. One has already dies due to choking on one of the mother staples that was holding her wound closed... the mother is losing her milk because she wont let the puppy nurse because of the pain from her c-section. My friend is bottle feeding the baby but the nipple is to big.. (The puppy is smaller then a new born baby kitten).. Although her dog is not a yorkie, She was hoping someone one here have any advice. I also a have chihuahua but she is fixed and never had puppies so I have no ideas. Thanks for advice..

What I use to nurse new pups with is a preemie nipple attached to a syringe. Using this method allows you to control the amount of milk into the nipple and lets you monitor the intake of milk.
