| Tensley's been a bad boy! Bought him a new toy last night and he destroyed it this morning. He's never done that before. Guess I can't buy him this type toy ever again.

| My dogs will do that trying to get the squeeky out. It usually doesn't take them long. |

| Looks like he had a good time though! My pup totally tries to destroy soft squeaky toys too - they are his favorites! |

| The way I look at it is Sophie's toys belong to Sophie to play with as she wishes and she never gets a no-no from me when it comes to her toys. I just live and learn and try to buy a stonger one the next time . Tensley is adorable by the way!!

| Pixie will do the same things to very soft toys. So to avoid that problem I don't buy them. I have been buying the AKC toys, rubber balls and rope ties. These she seems not to destroy. Also Tensley is very cute.

| I feel your pain.... I'm so tired of coming home to find bits of stuffing all over the yard! I don't like spending my hard-earned money (no matter how little they cost) on toys that get torn up. Our Aussie, Stormie, has always been SO good with toys - as is Tatum with her toys. She actually still had the stuffed animal that we gave her when we brought her home (5 years ago) until Blaze, her son, got old enough to find it and tear it up. I was so sad for it. Stormie has always carried her toys around like babies, being so gentle with them. And now we have Blaze! Ugh! (but we love him all the same!! ) Guess I'll have to find some near-indestructible toys for him.

| Thanks Pixie, I think he's a cutie patootie! While Tensley is allowed to do just about anything he wants with his toys (he even shares them with Luckey, my son's pitbull) this one was a bit too much. However, I really didn't give much thought to the stuffing until he seemed to think that's the stuff he's supposed to play with. So, lesson learned, no overstuffed toys for him.

| How funny. He is a true terrier. Jokingly in my family, we call Josh the Terrorizer. He is also known for destroying some of his toys. I should have brought him toys that can withstand rough play. He thinks he is a tough dog in a small package. Hey, he makes a great alert dog. I am not going to tell him nothing different. Between us, Josh is just a sweet lap dog. Oh, the pictures of your pet are adorable. Last edited by JoshieBoy; 06-01-2010 at 10:27 AM. |
