| Sleeping Situation... : / My ex-boyfriend and I bought a house together after we broke up. We co-own a business together and because we have pets together and work from home it works well for us. The problem is all of the dogs (2 yorkies + 2 pomeranians) sleep with him and I go to bed alone. Jim (the ex) says it's because all of the dogs want to be together. I end up going to bed alone and sad because I miss snuggling with the dogs. I don't know how to get one or two of them to sleep with me. I don't want to upset them but they slept with me before moving into the new house. Any advice??? I'm desperate...

| If the dogs are used to sleeping together then, IMO, it's not really fair to split them up. Why not have them alternate nights? I'm sure they'd get used to that arrangement faster than getting used to being split up.

| Just bring a couple in with you and shut the door Your not putting them alone in a basement your bringing them to your bed, with you... some dogs should be so lucky... they will get used to it in no time.

| I agree share night. It seams like you guys can be civil if your still living and working with each other. Just ask for visitation sleepovers. |

| I'd put cookies in my bed side table. When I was about to go to bed, earlier than my boyfriend, I'd have one of those smelly cookies hidden in my hand to try to lure one or more of the dogs into the bedroom with me. All's fair in love and dogs! When my first IG was a puppy, I'd get home from work and have to entertain her for a couple hours, she had so much pent up energy. She's crash, then I'd wake her before bed to go out. No way did she want to go to bed, she was ready to play again! I started getting her to go to the bedroom with a "bedtime snack." She is 15 years old now and still runs to the bedroom and waits on the bed for her snack. And I still think it's the cutest thing. All my dogs do this.
