| Sophie goes to school Yep, Sophie is officially enrolled in doggie school! She is 15 months old with some training we began early on and already knows her sit & stay with hand signals or a verbal command. The class is offered by a private trainer (our groomer) and has 11 dogs and runs for 6 weeks. It was only $45.00 so what the heck! She is easily distracted by other dogs and people so this should be fun. That's something I would like her to overcome so she can greet people without loving them to death. She is super smart (of course she is ) so I hope she will take to it. Please wish us luck!

| Thanks! I hope so. I want to start her in agility training and a basic training class is recommended first. We leave for our first class in a half hour.

| Thanks for all your warm wishes Sophie was a big hit in class last night. Everybody loved her excitement as she wagged her little tail a mile a minute and went up to each dog and tried to kiss them. The first night was orientation and we were given homework for next week. Sophie already knew how to sit & stay and although it was hard with the distractions of all the new people and dogs she managed to focus long enough to pull it off to a round of applause. This week we are working on her lay down command and off command. Our instructor is a trainer for service dogs with Paws for a Cause and she brought her 7 mo. old lab in training for demonstrations. The class was a lot of fun for both of us. If Sophie can get it all down in the next 6 weeks we can start agility training with the same instructor! Yay Team Sophie!

| Having your puppy in school will do both of you a world of good. In just 6 short weeks you will see a different puppy, the social skills will be the most noticeable. Starr has attended 3 different schools and after each class we can see the difference in her. Have jun in class. |

| Happy to hear Sophie enjoyed her first day at sch $45 is a steal! I schedule appt with a dog trainer for Dior on the 22nd for her leash pulling and barking and we are paying $70 bucks a session (hr long). She graduated puppy sch at Petsmart in 2007 and still remembers everything except the pulling on the leash
