| Dog park We went to take toby to the dog park, just to check it out and see whats what..... i dont think we will be going again. Its been a little wet in california and that means mud, we werent going to let toby down we were just going to look. well........ we got there and there was two big dogs a ways off, one was a pit bull, the other was a lab. Like i said we were just going to look and we were TRYING to see the little pen on the side that might be used for small dogs...... these large dogs came BOUNDING over to us THROUGH the mud and JUMPED UP ON ME!!!!!!!! I had mud all up and down my front, thanks pet owners for watching your dog do this to me..... the park itself was horrible because it was all dirt/mud and no grass and to get to teh small dog pen you have to walk a long ways THROUGH the big dog pen (about the sixe of a basball field)... not a good experience, toby was scared out of his mind (and hes not afraid of anything, he is fearless) because of these dogs, and their owners were just sitting there while there dogs made mud pies out of us.... |

| Ugh! I can't believe that! We have a dog park here - but I haven't been to it since we got Tia. I can't imagine the mud, either! Sorry to hear you're a mudpie now!

| Oh gosh Orinskye - I am sorry about your experience. I have been following the news on Calif's weather, it's been horrible. I grew up in Southern CA and have family there so try to keep up on life in that area. Here in AR we don't have such parks, at least not around me that I am aware of. Glad the worst of your day was mud and you or Toby didn't get hurt!

| Yes, some of the owners of the large dogs can't handle their dogs very well at all! Be very, very careful of big dogs coming around your Yorkie, as some of the not-so-smart ones may think he's food or something. Yoda was almost trampled one time at a dog park, and we usually don't take him to dog parks much now. |
