| Don't worry, be happy.... Hi Princess's mom, I am sorry that you were attacked, I am sure you did not mean anything harmful by referring to your sweet baby as a "teacup" . The only thing if I may point out is that I believe as so do many other people here or on the forum that there is no such thing a "teacup" . In many litters you will sometimes get what is called a "runt". That sometimes gives some people the idea that because they are smaller they can compare it to the size of a teacup, you will even see pictures of these cute pups taken around or inside these teacups, but sometimes it is just used to measure or compare the size. Breeders tend to charge OUTRAGEOUS prices for these smaller ones because they promise they will stay small, and truly no one can really guarantee you that. But please don't feel that you need to leave this site because of someone else's opinion. I apologize myself for this person and just see beyond this situation put it behind you and enjoy everyone else's good humor and knowledge. I will guarantee you will meet lifelong friends and learn alot of knowledge you might one day need. I can only say that I hope you stay and look past this. Hope to continue seeing you on here, by the way ,can you post of pic of your little one I am dying to see what she looks like! P.S don't feel bad, My little Gizmo is very difficult to dress right now too, even the X-Small fits him BIG and after I put it on he nudges it off!! AHHH THAT LIL" STINKER!! But I luv him!! Gizmo is 4 months old. Last edited by cindy0721; 10-20-2005 at 07:06 AM. |

| First let me tell you I am sorry someone hurt your feelings. This is a very good site, with some wonderful people on it. There is so much information & support, you couln't get anywhere else. Yes, there might be some rude people, I have not yet to run into them. But rude people are everywhere. This site is for people who love and care about our little yorkie babies, big & small. And not just their own, you may not have ever met one member, but your heart goes out to them with the good & sad times of their furbaby. Please stay with our group, we love to hear stories & see lots of pictures. I have not been here long, but I have gained lots of information, wonderful stories, and some very nice on-line friends. Your Breeder called your baby a tea cup, because it's a small Yorkie. The AKC says there is no teacup. Yorkies are 4-7 pounds. Keep in mind that is the standard Yorkie mostly for showing. But they do in fact come in all different sizes. I have just as much love for a small as I do for a large Yorkie. I met a 15 pound Yorkie at the store one day with Princess. Yes he was the biggest Yorkie I have ever seen, but he was also a sweetheart. His name was Bear, and he has a huge heart of gold. Again, I am sorry you ran into someone rude, But I can tell you the best Yorkie Talkers out weigh the rude, by far!!! Please stay with us, and share your furbaby. I hope you have a wonderful day!

| I'm sorry someone was not friendly to you -- please don't leave because of that. I have had very unpleasant experiences here too, and thought of leaving on account of a couple of members attacking me for opinons -- I, too, got very ugly PM's and thought "forget THIS" -- but let me tell you, there are far more nice people on here than mean... I promise. This is a great resource for information and I have met some great people. I think the term "teacup" just gets some people going -- I have a "very very very small" yorkie myself - just now at 3 pounds and I have learned to watch throwing around the term "teacup" -- which is what her breeder even called her. I know what you mean about loving them whether big or small -- I'm the same way. Please consider staying --- this is a good place to visit --- don't let one or two people ruin it for you like I almost let them do for me. Welcome and hope to see you on here again! |

| Please Stay! I'm sorry someone treated you this way. It is very uncalled for. Last week there were quite a few treads debating the term 'teacup.' Most of us thought it was a term used loosely to describe a dog that is 'tiny.' I actually checked out that post you had put up to see if anyone had given any suggestions - as I have a 'tiny' or 'teacup' yorkie as well. It isn't a pride thing though!!! We just want a cute little costume for our furbaby too! This site is to help and educate, not batter it's memebers. I haven't been a member for very long, but have found this site to hold endless amounts of very valuable information I have used in raising my first yorkie, Laila. I urge you to stay, and give YT one more chance. Most of us are pretty nice, and just want take care and show off our beautiful Yorkshire Dogs. After all - a yorkie is a yorkie, no matter the size - and this site is for ALL YORKIE LOVERS!!!!

| I've been around here since April and I can assure you that the vast majoirty of people on here are extraordinary and kind!!! It is shameful for most of us on here when something like this happens...not to mention embarassing!!! Please don't be intimidated and leave and I agree that you should let admin know who did this. You are most certainly welcome to call your baby anything you want on here and should not be attacked or put down in any way for doing so!!!! That is not what this forum is all about! Hope you can find it in your heart to give the rest of us a chance and overlook the few on here that occasionally cause trouble! This isn't the first time this very same thing has happened!!! BOOOOO to whoever did that!!!

| Please don't leave because of that. I'm sorry your short stay has begun with someone hurting your feelings, too. As I said, please don't leave and reconsider, because there are always people like that everywhere you go. I think you'll make many new friends here and share lots of fun experiences and might even get some good help if you ever need it!

| teacup babies Please don't leave because of this. I haven't been here very long either and I quickly found out that just the mention of "teacup" sets some members off. My baby is 'teacup" if you will, or tiny, or small. Whatever. There are far more noce and helpful people on here that love you and your baby than those that hide under the guise of being "passionate about yorkies" to attack someone. |

Peoples should never send pm when it is for attacking other peoples . I am sorry that you receive one . Excuse my ignorance , what do you mean by carrying your dog around in your purse ? Maybe peoples will laugh at me but I am ready to it . I am able to laugh at me when I do something . Don't leave because of one person . Last edited by Gazou; 10-20-2005 at 07:58 AM. | |

| Please Stay You will find that teacup is a word that justs starts arguments so just try and use tiny. I myself use teacup sometimes even though I know technically it is wrong, but I use it as an endearment and not a selling point( I'm not a dog breeder) which is I'm sure what you were doing . Most people on here are Very Nice and you kinda learn keywords to ignore or not use so as not to get a hoopla. Stay you will like it more then hate it
