| Charlie update Well, just thought I'd give an update on my Charlie. (Still don't know how to do pictures. Maybe someday He's around 14 weeks now and he really is the perfect fit for us. I was so against getting another dog, never mind a puppy, but I just had a "feeling" when I heard about him. This should remind me to always go with my intuition. He is such a little love. Now I know why people get all obsessed with their Yorkies!!! I could never understand it before. But there really is something about these dogs. They're special. Charlie is a real cuddler!! He would be happy to cuddle with someone all day long. He loves giving kisses. He's not much of a barker (thankfully.) He was going a little crazy with the biting a couple of weeks ago but that's stopped. He hardly does it at all anymore. We were just very consistent, telling him "No bite," or giving the back of his neck a little squeeze. He's still chewing, though, and we've lost a few pair of shoes ... but I told the kids, it's not his fault. You left them lying around (and I left one pair out, too. Oh well.) He could do better on the pee pads. It's almost like a hit or miss, even with a high-end treat. But I keep reminding myself that toddlers take a while to toilet train sometimes too. He likes to play and go for walks. He took to the leash right away; I was surprised. I thought it might take him a while. He's just one of those dogs that no matter what you do with him he's happy. If you want to cuddle, that's good. Play? That's good too. He's eating pretty well, and we've kept his snacks to a minimum. I am so thankful Charlie came into our life!! Perfect timing and perfect puppy. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Awe - glad things are working out so well. They certainly have a way of wiggling right into our hearts. I got Bridget after much begging and pleading with my finace' who said "No dogs" but finally gave in. Now Bridget (or peanut as her "Daddy"calls her) is the light of his life. He said to me just Sunday..."you know - I really love her!!!". Early in the morning I can hear him calling her...."Peanut - come to Daddy!" Go figure! Even when she does something she shouldn't - he right away tells me "don't scold her - she's just a baby"(I wonder how long she'll be "just a baby" to him. He is the prime example of the "Little Dog Syndrome". Oh left up to him she would be such a brat - he who didn't want one....lol! Enjoy your little one!!!

| I'm so glad you found Charlie. Yorkies are such a special breed like none other. They become a loving family member in such a short amount of time. They adopt us and just want to please and be with us always. Our first yorkie Baby captured our hearts and now our loving little Sophie is absolutely the light of our life. Sounds like Charlie is learning quickly. They are such smart little babies. Btw,If you need help with photos you can PM me.

| Very good to hear you are enjoying Charlie. I too have been bitten by the Yorkie bug and they do wiggle into your heart very quickly. From the sounds of his behavior, he is happy to be with you too!!
