Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Is this normal??? I've had Porsche since she was 6 weeks ago. She is my princess. I finally had her spade just this last year (after dumping the husband who said we wouldn't spend the money). She had one litter and, of course, many heats. Is it normal for her to continue humping her favorite stuffed animal?? She was spade 6 months ago.

| Yep! Not to worry ... as embarrassing as it is to us humans, they don't suffer the same "moral constraints" we do. As far as I can figure out, "if it feels good, do it!" My male has a favorite circular bed. You can almost set the clock by him: 8:30 every night he trots back to my bedroom, has his way with the bed, then comes back out to the living room to crash for a while . Some dogs are downright embarrassing, humping anything and everything (those are usually the ones that haven't been neutered yet). Some have a favorite toy or object. In any event, it's normal, so don't worry about it. |

| My little maltese, Casper, was neutered . . . but he did have a favorite stuffed bunny that he spent time with each evening. He loved his bunny! Until one time we boarded him at a very nice kennel and they washed it for us. He never touched it again. So I guess it's normal. |

| Oh, yes! Perfectly normal. My lil Muffin had a stuffed doggie her whole life that she humped. I used to hide "doggie" if company was coming that wasn't familiar with her weird habit.
