| One ear at a time Bijou seems to have only enough energy to have one ear up at a time. She had the right one up for 3 weeks. Then when the left one came up. the right one went down. Now its floppy until she gets really excited then they both stand straight up. Is this normal? Ive already trimmed her ears so I know its not hair. She is almost 4 months and im wondering if she is gonna have one antennae or 2 (LOL) |

| I am sure both will be up after shes done teething. Jewels had the one ear up one down and it went up on its own without me doing anything to her ears.

| It sounds like she is cute as can be with her ears taking turns in standing up. She is still very young, it might take a few more months for both ears to stand together constantly.

I keep wondering if Harley's are ever gonna go up and stay. He just turned 6 months ... is there any hope? Sometimes both are up but never for very long, then maybe one or the other up, but usually both are just floppy. I tried taping them once, but he looked so pathetic and sad I couldn't stand it so I took the tape off after one night. Droopy ears or antennaes ... he's still a little cutie!

| Bentley is just over 5 mos. and teething. His ears have been floppy since we brought him home a month ago. We have taped and sometimes 1 stands for a bit but the tip falls backwards. I have had the same concerns. We have taped a time or 2. Do you massage the ears to help the circulation? Also try feeding a treat of cottage cheese w/ 1 meal (2 tbsp should be more than enough. My question is how long does it usually take for them to teeth and the ears go back up, what age, etc. I have heard that if they don't stand by 6 mo. they probably never will, but teething can last longer than that.
