| Any tricks on how to get out that pee smell? I have tile floors in my house except for the bedrooms and a small area rug in my living room. I have noticed a urine smell in front of my couch, in front of my recliner, in my dads room, and I even think on my couch (I know Gross right!! we had a friend come over and Roxy got a little too excited). My rug is dark colored so I cant see where the spots are. I have gotten on my hands and knees and scrubbed with resolve and also vinegar and I still smell the stink. It could just be in my head (my husband thinks it is....I am anal about smells and he thinks I am just obsessing). Either way, I have to get rid of this smell for good!!!! Roxy goes back to those spots occasionally and sniffs and every now and then I see her try to squat but she never really pees (just a tinkle). UGH!! I got to get rid of this smell....it is driving me insane!!! Any helpful hints or tricks???

| Another bioenzymatic product like Nature Miracle is Simple Solution. I use it in my carpet cleaning machine.

| Pet stores, and some hardware stores like Home depot or Lowes in the cleaning supplies, or online.

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | I bought a blacklight kit at Petsmart. The urine turns florescent in a darkened room, so I can find the hidden spots. Love, love, love Natures Miracle.

| "Kid's and Pets" works well too...often better than Natures Miracle. Another one I've heard works well is "Urine Gone".

| Use a black light like another poster said.It will show you exactly where the spots are,but make sure the room is dark. Then use a product like mentioned and follow the directions to the letter. Then once it is dry go back over it with the black light and make sure it is gone.

| I have all tile as well with some area carpets, but sometimes can smell. I have used Nature's Miracle forever and it works well. After I mop I leave it to dry. Recently I was told about Eco 88. It's unbelievable. It removes ALL smell. I mop with and spray on furniture. I've heard it can pull color, so be careful on dark things. I recently had someone come in and say my house didn't smell. I usually have fragrance burning or plug ins (to mask residual odor) so she missed that smell not the pee; but we chuckled about it. |

| when i got my pup, i started using Spray N Wash which is made for laundry stains because it's what i had handy and it works awesome on stains - it's like a miracle, lol. (tonight when i was doing laundry, my 5 year old said, do you use oxy-clean?) the power of advertising -haha. i digress... i had looked online and in stores for "odor masking" stuff. i decided i wanted the best of the best so i waited til i went to the vet. i asked the vet and she said, "just use whatever gets out the scent for you because dogs have such a strong sense of smell - they are going to smell where they've gone regardless. there is no miracle cleanser." that was my gut feeling in the first place so i believe her. i wouldn't spend a lot of money on anything because i honestly don't think it will REALLY work. |

| on another note - i'm thinking of sending my pet to a dog trainer that does house breaking. expensive? YES. cheaper than cleaning products and carpet or tile replacements over the course of 15 years? YES. |
