| Unfortunately there are furbabies that are like that. I own one myself. Here is some second hand info that was passed to me... Start with just taking her to the car and sitting in it with her for a short 5 min stent every day for a few weeks. Then progress to starting the car and keeping her in it for the same amounts of time. All the while talking calmly to her like you do at home and you must stay calm. Treats afterwards are always welcomed. Then you progress to around the block, then stop car and stay in it running for 10 mins. That is how it is done...small baby steps every 2 weeks or so to get her desensitized to it. I do not know if it works though as I am only on 1 week and Emma does the whole drooling, shaking thing too...she absolutely hates it still but I will keep on going. One note, she does do better when in her carrier on the floor vs the expensive doggy set up I purchased... |
