Question about males??? I know this is going to sound funny but any one who has a male yorkie can answer this. My male just started trying to "hump" my arm last night while we were in bed. I was just wondering if it was normal for him to start doing that at 4 1/2 months old?? And if it is how can I get him to stop besides getting him fixed? I don't even know how old they need to be to be able to get "fixed. " Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Leslie & Buster

Luigi was only 3 mos when we brought him home. And we got him many toys to play with. And he also loves to hump the ones with legs on them. So we would tell him no and then take them away. But he would sniff and sniff everywhere and go crazy looking for them. So we gave inn= and gave them back. As he he is getting a little older he hasn't been doing it as much. He will just play with them now. But he will be fixed when he is 6 mos. My vet also told me that they will still have tendencies to do that still, its a natural instinct for them.

even females hump........ i have a male that has done this since he was 3 months old.... he is now 5 months (just had him neutered) and he was still doing it..... if neutering does help it must take a while for all the hormones to reach an equilibrium
