| MY friends 2 females are constantly fighting I work with a girl that has 3 yorkies Chloe is about 2yrs Beans is 14 months a male then there is bella about 8-9 months. Her girls have started fighting constantly and she is afraid they are going to injure each other. The younger one starts it alot and they make each other bleed. She just got the young one fixed hoping to help the problem but it has not and she has to keep them separated alot. I told her to join this site to get advice what a great thing yorkie forum is. Just thought I see what advice ya'll have and I'll pass it on. thanks. |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | No advice.. I have 2 females that live separte 24/7 or they would kill each other. I am getting ready to rehome one. I think it is in the best interest of everyone. I hate to let her go but I think she would be happier somewhere that she is the only dog.

| I feel bad for her. I have two females: Maddie was two when we brought home Cooper at around 14 weeks old. Maddie hated Cooper. I have worked really hard encouraging their relationship. After about 4-5 months, they became sociable. I had to take them to the groomer together and drop them off. When I came back they were totally different dogs. (I joked that they were praying at the groomer: "Please God just send mommy back and we'll be good, we promise.") From that day on, they were buddies. I think it is a female thing, but they still have thier tiffs. However, they also lick eachother's faces and play together constantly. I hope it works out for your friend. I know the grief I went through stressing about this. I just wanted them both to be happy. ~Amanda |
