| My compassionate Yorkie Maximo and I were leaving the house for our walk this morning when I tumbled down the icy brick front stairs. It was only 3 stairs, but I fell hard and smacked my head -- lots of big, ugly bruises and a monster headache. Thank goodness Maximo wasn't hurt, and to my amazement, he didn't run off. Considering how excited he gets when we go outside, it is a minor miracle that he calmly sat in front of me with big pleading eyes. Maximo gave me lots of gentle licks until I collected myself and got back onto my feet. I managed to take him on his walk and he kindly took things slow and easy. What a sweetie! |

| OMGoodness, I am so sorry for your 'tumble'. I hope that your wounds are not too serious and you mend quickly. What a gentleman Maximo is!! I believe they understand alot more than we give them credit. Glad you both have each other

| I'm so glad you're ok minus a few bruises. Be sure to put some salt on your stairs. Happy New Year.
