| Help!!!! Info needed! Hi Everyone! You were all so helpful with tips and info when I first got Lupo... I need your help again! My sister just put a deposit on two YES TWO male morkie puppies[littermates] (pls dont judge about the morkie thing, they were so cute she couldn't resist). She's getting them in two weeks. She really needs lots of info on bringing home 2 pups at once. She's an excellent doggie mommy (they have a sweet and gentle 9 yr. old collie who's fine with my little guy), but is anxious about the challenges of two babies at once, especially in the housebreaking issues. She works but will have lots of help from her teen dtr, who is a very responsible girl and a major animal lover. Her dh isn't home much, but he really loves animals too. Anyone have experience with bringing home twins? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

| Personally, I have always felt like two do better than one anyways if you can justify two puppies at once. They entertain each other and will have each other to sleep with, and what one sees one do the other will do. Just be as consistant in their training as you would be with one. Put them on the same schedules so they get potty breaks at the same time. And with two they will have each other to play with rather than finding things they shouldn't be in to. Yeah, they will do that too, but probably not as much. Sounds like fun!

| Well, I have three yorkies. Two of them are currently puppies and now about 20 weeks old. Do you know if they will be started on paper or pee pad training? Mine were started on pee pad training and that was a huge help to me. I kept my two together in the same crate or pen when they first came home but ended up splitting them into seperate crates after about the first month. I normally just crate them when I'm not home and then they play with us or I try to let them play together in an xpen I bought. The xpen has been awesome to have. Its helped me limit their roaming area which is nice while they are still potty training. One of the things I was warned about with getting two puppies at once was that they might be more attached to themseves than to us. That hasn;'t been the case for us so far but we also try to give them time with us apart from each other. My daughter might play with one while I take another puppy into another room. I've found that they really need to be out of sight (and sound) from one another when I try to train them. i.e. sit, stay or they won't listen since they are more interested in playing. They have been a blast. Its so funny to watch them run around and play together. When my adult yorkie jumps into the mix, i call it a ball of furry...get outta the way Get lots of toys...lots of indestrucible chew toys and a couple extra washable doggy beds. I noticed that I need to clean their area's more and wash their beds more than i did with my first single puppy. They tend to go crazy when they play and toss everything around whether its food or poop or something else There are so many great people on YT. Your going to get a lot of information. Everyone just has to figure out what works best for them. Let me know if you have any specific questions via the posts or PMs. good luck!
