| Sometimes they "mark" the thing that's taking you away from them. If you're spending a lot of time on the laptop, and not with them, they might mark it as a threat to them. They want your focus to be on them, and not something else. My advise is to keep it out of their reach.

| Before Cookie got neutered, he peed on my printer, on my computer and one day on top of the dinner table!! We sat down for dinner and there was a huge puddle. Ididnt notice it because our table is maple wood. He stopped doing that after he got neutered. He still marked but not in those places ever again. Gen |

| OMG I could have started this thread! I was getting dressed for work this a.m. (like every a.m.). Walked in my bedroom and my Maddie had peed on my bed!!! Not only peed on the comforter, but then walked through it and left little wet footprints onto the edge!@!!!! She sleeps on this bed with me and has NEVER done this before. She is almost 2 and went out before this to pee and poop outside. GRRRRRRR I don't care what anyone else says, you can't tell me that after they pee they forget about it because as soon as I walked in and saw it, before I even reacted, she looked at me, looked at the comforter and took off like greased lightening and hid behind a chair. She so knows what she did was bad!!!! |

YT 500 Club Member | Though Alfie hasn't peed on my laptop I can pretty much guarrentee as soon as I log onto YT he suddenly needs to go out to pee. We've also found the odd pee patch on the carpet and assumed it was Rosie who still had the odd accident, but no, we caught Alfie doing it in the middle of the carpet and sqatting like a bitch, its like he knew who would get the blame. Now he's been caught he has at least stopped. Sneaky little devil. |

| I know it's annoying sometimes but isn't that why we own Yorkies - their "personality"! |
