| dry coat, help! what do you use to moisturize their coats. Coral was groomed last weekend and her hair seems kind of dry. Is there a leave in conditioner type product for dogs? She just turned one and i always thought she had a silky coat until recently because of how dry it has been. Could it just be her puppy coat growing out?? She isn't matting or anything, just dry. Any suggestions??? (FYI-she eats good food, N.V. prairie beef)

| The shampoo the groomer used may have dried her coat out a bit? We use a conditioner in the winter here because it gets soo dry indoors. This conditioner is reaaaally good at retaining moisture to the coat. Also make sure your furbaby drinks plenty of water, what goes in the body affects the coat too. Here is the conditioner I normally use in the winter, but it is not a leave in conditioner: Espree Animal Products -

| This is what we did last year and it worked. At the same time we started using Buddy Splash shampoo and conditioner. In the summer we bathe Chase once a week but in the winter we do it once every two weeks. (hiney baths in between). |
