| X-Pen - No Substitutions I purchased a 26" high Super Yard XT at Toys R' Us as an x-pen for Gus. It served the purpose, with Gus, very well. Since my new pup (3.5 lbs) hadn't urinated all day (his first day at home with me), for the night I decided to put his crate (door open) at one end of the pen & a wee wee pad at the other. This seemed like a good alternative to him possibly going in his crate. A little while after being placed in the pen he was found outside the pen. We figured he squeezed through a narrow opening at one of the corners, but it really looked too narrow for him to get through. Today, I put him in the pen to observe what he would do. After a few minutes he started climbing up the side. That's how he must have gotten out last evening. We're lucky he didn't break something after he scaled the top of the pen.

| They sure are little climbers. The first day I had Bonnie, she was closed up in the bathroom. I went in there and she was standing up on a little marble top table. (about 14 inches high). The only way she could have gotten up there was to have climbed up the bath mat that was hanging over the tub. She got up there but wasn't brave enough (thank goodness) to jump down. |

| LOL Blessed - We call Jack - King of the Mountain because he seems to have to be at the highest point, no matter what it is. I think he has mountain goat in him or something.
