| Had to leave Sophie at home :( While we are on vacation at Disney this week. She knew the whole day we were getting ready to leave. She would just lie down on the couch with me and mope around. We did some tricks and I could tell she was sad. Plus she's started really teething (there was a microscopic drop or two of blood on her pink stuffed squeaky bone) and I could hardly stand to leave her. I cried and cried!!! My dad is taking care of her so I know she'll be fine but it was so hard to leave my baby girl!! We would have taken her with us, but we are staying on property at Disney and we didn't want to put her in a kennel at only 5 months old. This will definitely be the ONLY vacation that she doesn't get to come with us! DH and I agreed that from now on we are going to work around places where she can in the room with us. I don't mind kenneling her during the day when we come to Disney but I couldn't bear to know she was there during the night right now! I'll probably use more cell phone minutes than I ever have this week calling to check on her. I just hope I can still have a good time without worrying too much! It was never hard to leave the cats but leaving Sophie was so HARD!! They truly are part of the family!!! |

| We went to Disney over the summer and I had to leave mine too! I hated it sooo much. I left them with my sister in law and she said that Max would search all through the house looking for us I felt so bad about it. I didnt want them to think we abandoned them! But they were well taken care of and we had a lot of fun but we sure did miss them... I stopped at a petco on the way back and got them some goodies! They were so hyper when we got home. I am going to have to do it again this summer and I'm dreading it!

| Have fun at Disney! I just got back from there on Thursday. It was hot and crowded but we still had fun. If your looking for a good pet friendly resort in Orlando the Royal Pacific at Universal Studios is one. They even have room service food and treats you can order fior your dog and a dog park. It is very lush and tropical like the Polynesian resort at Disney. We stayed there one night this year and were very impressed

| Aww! I went to Disney back in February for 5 days so Jackson was only around 4 1/2 months (I think?) I felt so bad leaving him but he stayed with my parents and did fine! Have fun!

| I know how hard it is to leave your pup. I hate to be separated from Daisy, but feel that she at least is safe at home where nothing could happen to her. You are very lucky to have someone who will take good care of Sophie. Have a good time and bring back a treat for your little one!

| Thanks for your replies! Dad said she was doing fine. He said that she cried a lot yesterday and kept looking for us and that she's a bit sad today. He's making sure she gets lots of loas. I'm getting her some stuff at Disney, too. I just can't wait until we get back! |

| We are heading to Disney again on November 8th. I have a wonderful woman who pampers my babies while we are gone so I know they are happy.. I am dying to know how crowded it is right now. We have tried going in March, February and we just went this past January but there are always hour long lines. We are determined to find a slow month and my sister said November is it so we'll see..It makes the trip so frustrating when you have 3 kids who have no patience..lol.. |
