| A couple questions... I have a couple questions to ask you guys... My little Nicky is my first ever Yorkie... SOOOOOOO I don't know if this is nomal behavior or a Yorkie trait... Here is what the little feller does lol... He LOVES to chew... It can be anything from his favorite toy to my slippers lol. I have another pooch Rocky.. the Shih-Tzu, he never really liked to chew anything to much. When Rocky was a pup I got him some Nylabone teething keys. Well they were hardly ever touched till I got Nicky. It was teething at first, I actually saw some loose teeth one time when I looked in his mouth. Well he is now almost 10 months old, and he still loves to chew, anything that he can get his mouth on. Is there any special chew type thing that I should be getting for him? Thanks for your help and suggestions!! Hugs Angie

| First of all, welcome to YT. Yorkies are chewers and need lots of chew toys. Gracie loves nylabones and bully sticks or any small chew toy. When she was younger she would chew on anything in sight but now that she's two years old, she sticks to her toys. Thank goodness!! I always keep plenty out and accessible to her at all times. Good luck.

| I recommend bully sticks or kongs. Both of these will keep your pup busy for a while and ease the desire to chew other things.

| Nylabone makes several types of bones and toys that are amazing and have saved our slippers We also have Kongs which you put a treat in and they have to chew to get it, LIFESAVER!Those are a few things that have worked wonders for us, and couldnt live without. Good luck and welcome to YT! I attached a few pics of my guys with their Kongs and then their Nylabones.

| I would try a bully stick or a Flossie. I give Yogi a Flossie and he concentrates on that thing until it's gone. I just gave him half a one 20 minutes ago and he's done with it and laying in his bed (probably tired from all the chewing! ) |
