| Another update on Gracie Well things are getting better slowly but surely. Aside from a Fall allergy cropping up Gracie is doing really well. Her hair is growing in nicely and she is starting to look like a normal weight yorkie. Now we need to watch her so she doesn't get fat! She has finally understood that the living room carpet is not the best place to pee and the back yard is a wonderful adventure land. Her breeder told me that she didn't play with the other adult dogs but she did play with the puppies. She has now started gently pawing at Skeeter's face, sticking her paw in his mouth and the two of them have been mouthing each other. It is so cute to see after worrying if she is ever going to play. Skeeter is so funny - he is so surprised that she isn't growling at him he is approaching her very carefully. Usually he is all charged up and attacking whenever he gets the chance. (playfully) She and Adie have exchanged a few kisses but Adie stopped playing with the other dogs when she discovered the tennis ball. LOL Gracie has even started sharing her loving gazes with me and not just my husband. So she isn't as much of a daddy's girl as she was! She does do one thing that is a little strange but cute. When she comes in she races the length of the house and jumps on to a big dog bed (we had for the gentle giant) and just lays there looking around then she gets up and races back to whoever let her in from outside. (Everyone gets a treat.) Go figure that one out! I will post photos soon. Love to all Last edited by Lou; 09-21-2009 at 12:56 PM. |
