| Peanut is sick!! OMG You guys I am sooooooo worried...hold on I am so upset.. sorry if this doesnt make sense... I left work at 3 I had pnut with me..I noticed he wasnt really active and happy as he usually is...I just thought he was being a dram king like he sometimes is...we got home and he just sat in the corner and was shaking.. He peed on his pad and i told him he was a good boy and was going to give him a treat..usually he runs around and acts excited...he just sat there he didnt even want the treat..then dh came home and he didnt even care... I looked at his gums and they looked a little little white. i showed dh and just by the way pnut is acting i took him into the vet.. the vet said we need to do blood work..well i guess pnut is a brat and wont hold still they have to put him under to get blood work done the vet thinks it might be something with his liver,,kidneys or even pacrities ( dont know how to spell it) I am soooo worried!!!! this happened all so fast he hasnt been acting sick or anything!! I dont know what to do i have to wait until 630 to go back there

| This baby needs blood work done asap if his gums are pale. He is dehydrated. In the meantime, do you have neutracal or honey? You can give him just a bit on his gums. This will give him more energy. It will be ok, just take him in and they should give him IV fluids. Please have admin to post this in the sick threads. You will get more response there. Please try not to worry and please let us know. We are praying for you and Peanut...Lissette |

| I hope your little Peanut gets better real soon, sorry to hear he isn't feeling well. Isn't it amazing how they can go from one extreme to the other so quickly. Luckily he has you to know when he isn't feeling well. Prayers for you both. |

| Sedation for bloodwork? Was he thrashing or did they just not want to hold him down? It could be so many things. When will you get results?

| OK we just got home ...I had to give pnut some meds and gave him some wet food..and I put him to bed! Yes pnut had to be sedated for blood work bc he was moving way to much..I even tried to hold him and it wasn't possible..not with out hurting him. The blood results are Good. No liver kidney problems tottaly fine, no pancrities..Nothing serious. The Dr said his wbc is a little high so he says that he has sort of an infection.. He put pnut on some meds and said he should start feeling better... thank you guys for all your support!! I will keep you posted
