| does your yorkie do stuff like that?? Hi my question is little bit weird but i wanna know if your yorkie is doing the same thing...Okay I just saw what my Lucky is doing with his toys, when he is by himself in room he is playing with them by climbing on toy(always is bear),and moving so fast. It`s looks very weird.. He is just 3month so he can`t make baby`s with any yorkie, because he is so small, but I can see that he wants it. I juat don`t know what to do,should I smack him and he will understands he shouldn`t do it.or live it ? does your yorkie doing somthing like that??

| Don't worry -- it is perfectly normal for puppies to hump their toys or even other dogs. My Rocky is 5 1/2 monhs old and he tries to hump is father, Ben. Ben does not like it and won't let him. It is not a sexual thing -- it is all about dominance. They are just trying to exert a little authority. Showing who's boss sort of thing. They calm down as they get older. Some don't do it so much after being neutered but others do. I also have a female Jack Russel who went a couple of years humping one of her toys. She would look so guilty when we caught her. She finally has stopped it. I would never smack htem for it. If it really bothers you, take away the toy they are doing it to. But do not be surprised if they find something else to hump. Just remember -- it is natural for them.

| Rockie used to do his humping with his special frog stuffed toy of his, now its a build a bear he inherited from my daughter. l just take the object of his attraction away from him and replace with another toy. l've always thought its a part of their nature and its a stage that will pass once nuetured.

| It is normal. You can take away the toy if you want or let him hump the toy. Dont hit him he'll start to fear you

| I have 3 boys, 1 3yo fix and 2 2yo not fix yet. All 3 would try to do that with my female when they were lil under 1 yo but none of them do that now. When I would see them getting too excited from playing or smelling my female I would calm them down and distract them with something else like a treat or start to brush them. Sometimes their lil wee wee comes out and I pick them up and tell them to put that away and blow a lil cold air to make it go back in and thats all. I do still have to tell the 2 lil ones everyday "leave Buffy alone" because they want to smell her hoo hoo and taste her pee (don't ask I have no idea why) But there is no humping here TG!

| Please dont smack him for doing what comes naturally for him! Molly still tries to hump my leg and she is 4 years old and has been spayed. I just move my leg away and say 'no'. She gets the message most of the time! |

| First of all I would never smack him. I have 2 males and OMG the poodle is so much smaller than my yorkie but he use to try to hump him to death but every now and then they take turns and I just call their name out loudly and they'll stop, but yeah it's natural

| hehe Toby has been doing a little bit of this as well and while most of the time it can be embarrassing if we're out the other day it was just too cute. My Mom has a miniature poodle and we were visiting and Toby climbed up on the poodle's back with every intention of going to town...but he's a baby...and he was sleep so he ended up falling asleep instead. Sabre the poodle is such a good natured boy he just laid there and let Toby take his nap. |
