| Daddy's Treat! So the DH bbq'ed a wonderful slab of flat iron steak! It was wonderful! He cut the rest up into little pieces and treated the furbutts! They loved it! Needless to say, there is no leftovers!

| It does sound good -- just be careful they don't get too much. Yorkies are so prone to pancreatitis, I don't let mine have more than a tiny taste of red meat. I am probably more fussy about it because I have chronic pancreatitis due to a genetic defect in my pancreas. I tried to treat myself the other day when took my nephew & his gf to dinner at a steak house. I ate no more than a fourth of the smallest steak they had -- about 4-5 bites. About 4 am it hit and I was in pain the whole next day along with all the nasty GI problems that go with it. Ah, but for those few minutes eating steak, it tasted SO good! I try something crazy like that about once or twice a year. Hard-headed I guess.
