| Moving to a new house What do you do with your dogs while your moving? Do you bring them over before you move to see the place, or bring them there after your all done moving? I think we found a place, well we did and we got the okay but I am not100% convinced til I am MOVING in hehe. So we will be moving in only two weeks, I have lots to do!!! I will probably have my mom take Lola for the day along with my daughter so they are not getting in the way of moving. Our other dog will probably go stay with my FIL or just have my dad watch her. She can't go to my moms house, because both of her dogs don't get along with her. I am so excited, We will have a large yard for them and LOTS more space for everyone as well as an extra bedroom for the dogs to have their crates in and so on. so any tips or advice on moving I will appreciate!! And how could I forget, I will finally have my spot for my memorial garden for Stormy!! She would be so happy to have a yard and garden to smell the flowers. It's not too late to plant flowers this year still right? Last edited by yorkie_mama22; 08-19-2009 at 08:41 AM. |

| I would take Lola there before you move in and just let her sniff around. Some dogs are funny about changes at least I know one of mine is and thats what I would do if moving

Yeah this may be a good idea for her, I don't want her to feel like we are abandoning her. I hate to move so soon into getting her but we have too, it's going to be so much better for our whole family. | |

| I would take her with us to the house let her check it out not just once but twice- she has been rehomed several times and I would want her to get used to the house, the smells, and sit with her so she knows you are going to be there with her. Best wishes! I am so happy that you have finally found your home!
