| Pesticides Maggie & Maximus have a backyard! We just moved into our first home from an apartment...Max & Maggie love to run around the yard, but I have seen huge spiders, bugs, and all kinds of stuff out there....what can I use in the backyard to get rid of spiders, ticks, fleas, etc that will not be harmful to my fur babies??? They like to chew on the grass sometimes.

| I would say nothing. I have tried several products touted to be furbaby safe and yet my babies get sick EVERYTIME I use any insecticide or weedkiller. Sorry, I have problems here too with hobo spiders. I spray, the dogs get sick. BTW I thought your subject line said pesticles and I laughed and laughed and couldn't wait to see what your post was about lol. It is late. I am going to bed!

Yea, the spiders up here are BIG. Maggie had one in her mouth the other day! I almost fell over myself trying to get to her to spit it out! Oh, it was so grose! There were legs hanging out of her mouth. I kept thinking she was going to get sick! She did spit it out b/c I told her drop it over and over, and she finally did.
