| Does anyone take puppy walking? This probably sounds like a stupid question but my furbabies are 12 weeks old and 3-4 pounds. I want them to get used to being on a leash but, I wasn't sure if I should wait untill their older. Do you use the harness verses a reg collar? |

| You might want to read this thread: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/gen...out-shots.html Always use a harness instead of a collar. Yorkies have very delicate throats and wearing a collar can cause a collapsed trachea. |

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Please harness your pup! We had to get a ferret harness for Macy (at petsmart, the lady was so sweet fitting her!) when she was tiny. A coller could choke your furbaby to death! ETA: link http://www.petsmart.com/product/inde...&lmdn=Pet+Type

Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | Hope it works for you! You have to look in the small animal section to find them. Or ask the nearest employee at petsmart Macy did good in those for 8 months!

| It would be a a good idead to wait until your furbabies have all their booster shots up to date.

| Yep, they should have their dhpp shots, but you could start walking around the backyard w/a harness (no collar)...I use Mr. Wags mesh harness that has velcro on it, because it's easy on, easy off...Apple is 9 months old, now, and we walk 30 minutes early morning, and 30 minutes in the late evening...I was just telling someone else, you need to get the fire out of them, so you can get to the fur (to pet lol), and no better way than a nice brisk walk.... |

| Ranger is four months old and he loves to go on walks. You should wait until they have atleast their second shots. Not only is a harness more safer, but it gives you more control of them, and makes you feel more on the safe side too.
