YT 500 Club Member | Get a yorkie-make a friend! My husband and I went shopping in Omaha yesterday, and we took Sophie with us. As usual, Sophie was the center of attention. Everywhere we went someone had to stop and pet her or talk to us. We went to Bass Pro Shop, and my husband was feeling a little like she didn't fit (not a hunting dog), but an employee had to go up to him and tell him all about his Yorkies. We went to a sporting goods store, and another employee told us about his little dog. Then a lady enjoying coffee and the sun at the mall jumped up and asked if she could pet Sophie. She and her mother said they have one. It was amazing.

| I recently got out of a speeding ticket. Austin and I were on our to the beach and Prince "KISS" come on the radio. I LOST IT. I see the lights and pull over. The officer pulls over and says "thats a good looking dog". And I got off with a warning. A warning in Wisconsin. ON Lake Drive. Thats so unheard of...... My favorite "new friends" we met are truck drivers at the rest stops and the gas stations. We have met many that have a yorkie at home and I personally like to think that Austin may have made their day. And not to mention the kids in my neighborhood. I have two little girls that ask everyday "may we pet him". And we chit chat and Austin is happy. And I am happy. Dogs kinda show you what people are made of..... They bring out the best in most. |

| Miss Sophie How did you get her in the stores? Where I live they don't allow furbabies in the stores in breaks my heart because we take Lexi everywhere we go so I do my homework for places, restaurants and hotels that allow furbabies for the most part we have good luck but my town just doesn't seem to let you bring them anywhere Hugs Cheryl & Lexi |

| Its so true, everywhere we take Juicy we end up talking to new people. Dogs bring us closer to others.

| We used to take Uni to Home Depot. There are signs on the doors stating dogs aren't allowed unless they are guide dogs, but everyone brings their pets there. Especially if you are in the garden center. I even saw a guy bring his cat. It was riding in the cart.

| Hmmmm, I wonder if the Bass Pro Shop in Orlando will let us bring her?? I will have to check. I think I did see a few furbabies in Home Depot the garden center now that you mention it Wish there was a restuarant close by....we have to bring her over an hour away to take her to lunch Wish more places would allow them....she loves being with us and really hates to be left home Hugs Cheryl & Lexi |
