| How much sleep should an 8 month old yorkie get Hi, I just got an 8 month old male neutered yorkie on the weekend. He seems to sleep 99.9% of the day. I try to get him excited and play but he just doesn't seem that interested. He seems to enjoy his walks but other than that he will just curl up on the couch and either sleep or just quietly chew his toy and then sleep. Is this normal? Thanks, |

| sleepy babies I have two and they both sleep a lot They love to go outside for walks and they do have times during the day when they will run around and play, but naps seem to be high on their to do list. He may get a little more active as he gets use to you and his new surroundings, but as long as he has been to the vet and you know he's healthy , don't worry, he's probably just a laid back kinda guy. Donating Senior Yorkie Talker | I just got Niyah and she likes to sleep if she is not kept busy so I think it is normal. She is healthy and will perk up her little ears if she hears something so I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as he is eating, drinking and walking and not listless, he is fine.

| Lucky you! Hee, hee. I think that it's normal, unless his stool is unusually runny or bloody, his gums aren't pink, throwing up, and/or not eating/drinking. Otherwise, you just have a laid-back, lazy pup! My Baxter seems to always want to play, especially when I'm busy doing homework or studying! LOL. Don't worry too much though!
