| Yorkie Gatherings in Austin, Tex. Hello: I have not posted since '08 when I lost my yorkie Bella to a car hit. I was devastated. I didn't think I would ever get a new dog. I have since acquired two. Bodhi and Gracie Bell (named after Bella) who was only 6 months when she got hit. She got startled by a loud noise, jumped out of my bag and ran into the street. In honor of Bella, I started a local yorkie group. I wanted my new guys to have playmates, socialize, and get on-going training. I also wanted to meet other owners. We meet once a month. We have 80 members so far and its growing. We welcome all sizes, silkies, and some mixes. Must be under 10lbs. We normally have about 20 members at each gathering. The others just like to stay informed and come when they can. If you or someone you know lives in Austin, have them contact us via: http://www.austinyorkshireterriermeetupgroup.com We would love to have them. Belinda Organizer, Austin Yorkies |
