| "The Yorkie Businness and Market" I can't stand coming across breeder sites that use the term business and market in reference to their breeding programs. I can't believe one would see breeding dogs as a business and not a hobby or they should say adoption or some other term that doesn't sound commercial because it is sickning. I t really can't be called a market because animals are not a product they are a living thing. I nmy eyes people who use these terms loose credebility. I just had to express my feelings as I feel this is wrong to have a commercial mind frame when it comes to pets. |

| I guess I have a different view towards this. Breeding is a business and I totally understand that. However, it's how that business is conducted is where some of my concerns are at. Raising healthy Yorkie's with their well being in mind is something a breeder should be paid for, it's expensive and very timely. I understand your feelings towards this also - and your frustration too.

| I understand its a business but they can use other terminology. It just seems like they look at their animals as items and not living things. I don't, this is just how I feel I guess. |

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | i agree with you. it may be a buisness but there are a lot of sites that say our babies or whatever or we are very proud breeders, we love doing this. but then there are those who just do it as a buisness...

| I can see what you mean but i think it would depend on the whole website for me. I think some would say it to show they are devoted to breeding and it is not a whim and they are taking it seriosly.
