In heat again, could this be?? We got Charley May 1st this year. She was acutally in a heat when we got her. She is a 8lb yorkie-poo and she is 2 years old. So her heat lasted until about the 19th of May. And now it's July 14th and she is showing signs of starting a heat again? Could this be??? She is licking like crazy and there is a smell again. I don't really see a discharge but I do see something.... We want to get Charley spayed but we have to wait until the end of the year. Our city gives spay coupons for 115$ off the price. The Vets here ALL say she will cost 400$ because she is 2 years old. How many heats can she have in one year?

I'm not a professional, but I do believe being told it usually is every 6-7 months.

Are you sure she wasn't bred while she was in heat in May? She'd be about ready to deliver now if she was.

If she was bred in May, would she not have any signs? She is the same as she was before back in May. What does that mean??
