| Phew! Stinky stinky! Bailey as for some reason started sleeping on his pee pad, and of course he now smells like pee, I don't know what to do, will he stop this? I can't keep changing the pee pad every couple of hours. Anyone else have this problem with their puppy? I've had him for nearly 3 weeks and he only now started to do this.

| I am sorry, I could not help but laugh at Baily's little new habit > Perhaps keep him in you room , with the door closed with a clean pad during the night? or in any room with a clean pad ? maybe he needs an expen, with a clean pad placed in there? how has he been feeling these days? Is he all better now? I know you have gone though so much with your little one since bringing him home. It seems like you have had him so much longer then just 3 weeks. bless your heart. I know for certain your doing all youm can for him. He is such a cutie, but such a handful. Puppies are like that though. I have one too. can understand how you feel. Hang in there , it gets better!

| Apple told me for sure she thought pee pads were nap pads lol...But seriously, she does nap on them, but not if they have been used...Why not try putting a soft fluffy pillow on the floor, and see if he gravitates towards that...I put several, behind the couch, and that's her favorite nap place...Glad to hear your little tyke is feeling better....Seemed to be so touch and go there for a while....Take care.... |

| Yes, my Bailey slept and chewed her pee pads when she was a baby and in the expen (while I was at work). Lots of baths!! And, yes, she outgrew it. I believe she was eight mos. old when she completely stopped it. Good luck!!

| Lola did the same thing...she finally outgrew it and we finally found a "bed" for her that she likes. We got her a pound puppy (the ones that are laying completely down) and she LOVES it! That is what she sleeps on and cuddles next to. We tried towels, beds, blankets, pillows, just the plain bottom on the xpen, but she kept going back to the wee wee pad and didnt care that she peed on it. She finally started to move and not sleep on the side she peed and then when the plush puppy came...she was in heaven! Never went back to the wee wee pad. If I take the puppy out and put it in the washer, she will gravitate towards the pad again. Good Luck! |
