Yorkie Talker | Hello... Skooter and I are new to this site. Skooter is my 7-month old male Yorkie. He makes me laugh daily. Skooter is larger and is now weighing 9.1 lbs. I recently lost my female "Mi" on 12/1/08. She weighed 3.9 lbs. I was very sad and not planning to get another dog, but my niece thought I needed one. Skooter was a gift from her on 2/14/09. I'm glad he's not as small as Mi used to be because she had a lot of health issues. But, now Skooter is having problems and I'm very scared. He eats Royal Canine Puppy food for Yorkies. It took me a while to get him to switch because he had been fed Ceasars and loved it. He finally switched and was fine, until a couple of weeks ago. He started vomiting, at least twice a day. He's been to the Vet and was negative for Parvo. Was giving an antibiotic shot and some medication, but he continues to vomit. Sometimes he vomits the food whole, sometimes yellow bile and sometimes a white froth. He is very energetic and loves to play fetch, but the vomiting scares me. I have a follow up with the Vet next Friday. I've been noticing he scratches all the time. Could this be an allergy to RC? Has anyone had this problem? Thanks, TERI http://kona.kontera.com/javascript/l...rey_loader.gif |

| Welcome to YT! I'm not much of an expert, but the scratching may be a possibility from RC because it contains corn which is a high allergen ingredient. |

| Hi and Welcome to YT You may want to consider switching to a different food. I give Lola Innova and she loves it. It’s a lot better than Royal Canine. Also RC contains corn and a lot of dogs are allergic to corn. Good Luck
