| Going crazy! I had surgery on Tuesday and I won't be back to being me for 2-4 weeks! What am I going to do about my babies??? I can't pick them up or rough house with them. Whenever my boyfriend comes home and he puts them outside they try to run to me and I feel so bad. I miss my babies. They are only 10 months old and I am hoping this won't affect my bond with them Has anyone had to disconnect from their pups before? |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Hope you feel better soon. I think they sense when you are sick and will love you when you feel better just as much.

| They are around, but they get so hyper and excited when they come near me. I can't lift them, so it is hard for me to control me since they are not fully trained. |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | I just went through this about 3 months ago. My solution? I could not be away from them, but I coud not risk them jumping all over me either (you can just imagine 5 yorkies greeting me after not seeing me) Anyway, I had this big heavy pillow with arms (like for sitting up) and I used this pillow as a barracade. Literally, I held it up in front me to protect myself, and they were free to kiss me and lay with me, etc. Sounds crazy, but it worked for me!

| That sounds like a good idea! I am going to see if I can wrap one of the huge bed pillows around me so I can hold them. I miss my babies. I just need them not to jump on my stomach |

YT Graphic Artist Donating Member | Exactly! It was a pillow like this ... http://www.furniturestoreblog.com/im...20and%20TV.jpg and I just put it in front of me, and kind of hid behind it! As time went by, I gradually moved down in pillow size. Ah, the things we go through for our babies!
