| Does anyone take their furbaby(ies) to church?! Just curious.... For anyone that goes or do you know anyone that does? (Not trying to be religious or offend anyone, just popped into my head and thought I would ask!)

| Once a year in October our preist does a special mass for us to bring our pets to and have them blessed in honor of St. Francis day. I take Bruce to this every year, but he does not go every Sunday.

| A church in our town that my friends attend does that too. I think it's wonderful. I had never known of anyone to take them to regular services. I know mine would either lay there quietly or try to eat the hymnals

| My grandpup Epcot (minpin) goes to church every Sunday with his other grandma. The priest approved it many years ago and said all God's creatures are welcome in his house. They sit in the crying room and view service through the glass. He just lays down and never bothers anyone. Everyone looks forward to seeing him after mass. My daughter had to give him up after my granddaugher was born. He acted out so bad after the baby he went to live with his other grandma 8 yrs. ago. I had another dog at the time and the two did not get along. Epcot is 12 this year. He also get's blessed during the animal mass once a year. |

| I used to take my german shepherd to church every sunday. She had horrible separation anxiety. She would sit under the pew, right under me and never budge. She was the best mannered dog I have ever had. She was like my shadow, where ever I was, she was too. There is a lady that brings her yorkie to church in a carrier. They sit outside and listen to the message. I think I will try that once!! Why not!! |

| Aww ARCHIE that sounds so sweet... I bet epcot is a darling doggy! And that's my kind of preacher Quote:
I've never heard of a german shepherd with seperation anxiety! But I haven't really been around them much. My mom had some when she was younger and said they're amazing dogs.

| I just saw the sign at the small church across from my son's elementary school. It says "All Pets Welcome, Sunday 9:15AM". I think that is so cute...almost so cute I'm ready to go but I have 4. The question that pops in my head is the "all pets" lol. I'm wondering if that means hamsters, cats, guniea pigs, pigs & snakes too cause I'm sure someone will take that literally...LOL.

| hi, yes I take molie to church with me. I attend a bible college and on occasion she will crawl in my bag and hide. Everyone there just loves her. I dress her up and take her with me at times. I hate to leave her home alone. She doesn't like to be locked up hugs molie's mom |

| I don't remember the name...don't know if I ever noticed the name...I just keep looking at the sign that says they are welcome but it is directly across from my son's school which is Brandywine Elementary on Brandywine Rd. I will be sure to get the name tomorrow morning because I'm going to his school! I'll leave you a message on your page if not here...
