| How to go about shaving ears Hi my little Louis is almost 4 months and his ears are still floppy but they are like not really floppy and it looks like they just need to be shaved. I tried to use a clipper but he gets all scared when I get near his ear. How do I shave them if he doesn't let me? Will it hurt if I shave them with the clipper anyways? |

| This website is the best help ever I have referred to it many times I never had to shave the hair, just trim the hair on the upper 1/3 of the ear....see below Yorkie Maltese Products and Bows: Grooming Instructions

| You can also use an inexpensive plastic eyebrow shaver that looks like this. You can find them at drug or beauty supply stores. I just use blunt nose scissors, but if you are nervouse about nipping the ears, use the eyebrow shaver. Very cheap and works great and no noise!

| My Yorkie never stands still. I don't know how I'll ever be able to shave them myself. I took him to Petsmart and they did it for $6 |
