| How tall and long is your yorkie? Just by reading the threads on this site I have learned so much about the different sizes of yorkie and looks. My teacup (which I know is not such a thing but was sold the concept)is rapidly gaining weight and who know where he will be. I was just wondering by looking at pictures of varies dogs that height and length has alot to play into the over all look. I was just wondering how tall your yorkie is and how long? Tall I think would be from the shoulder down and length from the shoulder-neck to the rear but not the tail. Even thou my Oni is on the weighter side he has short legs and looks as small as some of the much smaller ones. I thought it would be interesting to see how tall and length other yorkies are to get a better concept of body types. My Oni is 7 in. tall and 9 in. long at almost 5 months. Who knows how much more he will grow but he is precious and loved. |

| From the teapot tribe: Daisy is 8 lbs 4 ounces per my postal scale. She is 13" long (approximately, how did you get your dogs to let you measure them?) and 10 1/2" tall. This confirms my wiener dog ancestry theory.

| Using just a straightened Myotape on my 2 wiggly dogs they both seem to be about 9" tall and 12" long. Though they have very different body types. Tater is very thin, while CoCo is more boxy shaped and seems more compact and dense. Tater is about 4.5 while CoCo is about 5.5 lbs. |
