| My lil Mr. Yoda I wanted to update and let everyone know that lil Yoda is doing great! He actually sat down this evening and ate several pieces of hard food. I was so excited! We have been through several days of force feeding and I just felt so bad for doing that to him. I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers and concerns, it definitely worked! We are now a healthy yorkie home! YEAH!!!!

| Rachel, This is such wonderful news!!!! It is due to your patience and love and perseverance, as well as all the prayers that brought Yoda to this point. It's hard to force feed, but so very necessary. God bless you for not giving up on him. Now, Mr. Yoda, you need to continue to eat for your Mommy, because you have had her worried to death! Sheila |

| I am confused by your post. Is Yoda OK? Did you get him in to a vet to see about the seizures?

| I realize that it is late, but I am pretty sure that I just wrote in chinese. LOL. Everything had been fine til Saturday am at about 3, he started having seizures and they got worse throught the day. I called my vet and he had suspected that he had a birth causing an extra artery grow around his liver. It has a very long name but he used the common term shunt. Anyway, this was May 2nd at about 4:30, he was really suffering and our very wonderful put him to sleep and he passed peacefully. It was the worst experience I have been throught. I don't think that I will be getting another yorkie anytime soon, I was so attached to him and I have lost so much sleep over it all. I am so sorry about my last post, I am not even sure what happened there. Who knows, it's past my bedtime. haha Please pray that he made a safe journey to the heavenly father!

| aww Rachel, I am so sorry to hear this. Oh, I know how your heart must be broken. My little Annie B just loves the babies, I know she was there to meet him, made sure he is well taken care of and not scared or lonely. I'm just so very, very sorry.

Yoda is romping at a wonderful place called the Rainbow Bridge, and my Tiffany and many other wonderful Yorkies are with him, free of sickness and pain. It's so wrong that he had such a short life here on this earth. In time your heart will heal, and I hope you will allow yourself the joy of being owned by another Yorkie. Hugs, Sheila | |
